| Thank you for visiting my
website. I am Rod Patterson, based in Louisville, Kentucky. My
specialties are nature and agriculture photography. I work on an
assignment basis and sell stock photography directly and through my
agents. My images have appeared in magazines, calendars, posters, greeting cards, textbooks, coffee table and special interest books, and national advertising campaigns. I have received honors from Fuji Film as the featured Nature Photographer of the Year in their professional trade publication, and honors from the Post Card Distributors Association of North America for my calendar images. Teaching includes speaking at seminars, and teaching photography at the University of Louisville. What began as a hobby in grade school gradually progressed into a life long endeavor. Every time I pick up a camera, I challenge myself to go one step further to create the next image as the best one I have ever taken, for me this is a passion, not just a job.
